The biome described here is the Deciduous Forest biome. This biome is a forest biome with many kinds of trees that lose their leaves each Autumn. Some of its major characteristics are; mid-high latitude, it has mild summers and cold winters, it is fertile, and it has all four seasons. This biome is in the United States and Canada. Some of its animals are rabbits, birds, squirrels, and wolves. Most of the animals in this biome are the animals you could see around you every day. Some of the plants are beech trees, oak trees, maple trees, bushes, flowers, algae. Some of the biotic factors of this biome are animals, plants, algae, protist, and bacteria. Some of the abiotic factors of this biome are rocks, soil, water, rain, temperature, air, sunlight, and wind. One environmental problem of this biome is acid rain that comes from driving vehicles. The solution to this is the drive less by carpooling as often as possible. Another problem is cutting down trees, which leaves thousands of species of animals without homes. To solve this we should recycle more, which would reduce the need to cut down trees. People living too close to this biome is also a problem, which can be resolved by choosing to live someplace else to allow the population of the animals and plants to increase so that they do not become extinct. In this example of a food web, bamboo, grass, shrubs, and berries are all the producers. the consumers are red panda, elk, a giant panda, deer and a rabbit. The secondary consumers is a leopard, a dhole, a Asian black bear, a fox, and a lynx. The decomposers are the Bengal tiger, the hyena, a black eagle, and a wolf. And the sun provides all the energy.
