This biome is the Marine biome. This biome means saltwater. This biome is the ocean. It is 71% of the earth. It has lots of animals, some as zoo plankton, sharks, large fish, small fish, sea turtles, manatees, parrotfish, and hermit crabs. Some of the plants are coral, green feather plant, leafy-flat blade plant, kelp, phytoplankton, the papyrus print plant, and seaweed. Some of the biotic factors of this biome are the animals, the plants, and all the coral reefs. Some of the abiotic factors of this biome are the water, the air above the oceans, temperature, and dirt at the bottom of the ocean. One of the many environmental problems for this biome is that coral reefs are getting destroyed. The way we can solve this problem is that when people go into the ocean, they do not need to touch the coral reefs and when they put nets in the ocean, the need to put divers in the ocean to help the see where the nets go, so that no coral reef is getting destroyed. In this example of a food web (left), the producers are the heliotropus, the mud foot, and the asperdoma. Examples of he consumers are; plankton and salt snails. Examples of the secondary consumers are; squat jellies, flapeelia, and quick fish. The decomposer is the sand wedge. The sun makes all this possible with its energy.
