This biome is the Tropical Rainforest biome. This biome is a hot biome near the equator, with much rainfall and a wide variety of plant and animal life. The biome's big characteristic is that it's hot all year with lots of rain. Most of the animals are colorful, except for animals like monkeys, spiders, sloths, jaguars, butterflies, and beetles. Some of the plants are Bengal bamboo, coconut tree, kapok tree, strangler figs, trees, flowering plants, moss, and algae. Some of the biotic things in this biome are the plants, the animals, and the moss and algae (on the trees). Some of the abiotic factors of this biome are the temperature, the sunlight, the energy, the soil, and the water (rain, lakes, rivers, etc.). The environmental problem for this biome is that when we cut down trees, we are making all the Rainforests go away. The solution to this problem is, we need to stop or reduce the amount of trees we cut down. If we reduce it, we would need to reduce it a lot. For example, we need to use both sides of the paper and don't waste by writing big, and such. The food chain for this biome (left), the producers are the canopy trees, the understory trees, the vines, the epiphytes, and many flowering plants. The consumers are small animals, insects, parrots, monkeys, and bats. The small predators are reptiles, amphibians, bats, insects, and birds. The large predators are the jaguar and the snakes. The sun provides all the energy.
